Labradorite is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite stones, I have definitely felt the powers of labradorite! This stone as I have worked with it over the years has taught me many lessons about myself, my creativity, and how I interact with the world around me.
Here are some of my personal findings of the wonderful stone LABRADORITE!
Labradorite is one of the most visibly magical crystal stones with its flashy colors and mysterious depths. This stone is great to use for scrying or gazing into to allow yourself to ‘get lost’ in its depths to find insight and wisdom for you and your life.
Labradorite is what I like to call the “best friend and advocate” stone because it does exactly that! It will help you to discern dangerous people, situations, events in order to know when to stay or go to keep yourself safe.
Carry this stone with you for protection and intuitive insight. It will help you to see the truth of other people’s intentions and be able to read situations with ease; this crystal will warn you of danger up ahead. Labradorite is excellent as a “best friend” crystal and companion because it will also help you to stand up for yourself and uphold healthy boundaries in order to protect your precious light and energy.
If you find yourself giving your power away, saying yes when you really mean no, or giving too much of your time and energy to others without giving enough to yourself, Labradorite is here to help you with that too!
Labradorite will heal and protect your energy field (auric field) giving you a chance to recover your energy. For creative types, this stone will help you to pull creative insight out from the ether in order to spark new ideas, or fresh inspiration; because of this, it is a stone used to overcome writers block or any creative block. Not only does Labradorite help you to overcome creative blocks, this stone is excellent for overcoming any sort of blockages of self-worth, negative self-talk, or negative thinking. The more you allow Labradorite to heal your blockages to self-worth, the easier upholding healthy boundaries will become and thus opening the door for more abundance to pour in!
Labradorite is an excellent stone to keep on or near your body to gain the most benefits of this stone. Labradorite mends holes in the aura from outside influences and inside influences by forming a protective bubble around your energy field sealing up all your leaky energy holes in your auric field (the energy that comes from your body).

For those who are interested in the more esoteric or deeper parts of spiritual exploration, Labradorite is your stone! It can help you access the akashic records in order to view different timelines, past lives, etc. To gain insight and healing for your own life or the lives of others.
This stone is also very good for astral travel protection and out-of-body- experiences. Its depths contain other worlds, past lives, and esoteric knowledge. Initiating the mysteries! Labradorite raises consciousness, stimulates intuition and psychic gifts whilst keeping the spiritual energies grounded. Right timing is enhanced due to bringing the unconscious mind to the surface to be understood.

Along with the above information about the metaphysical and spiritual healing powers of Labradorite gathered from my own personal experiences and knowledge, Judy Hall, the author of the book The Crystal Bible : A Definitive Guide to Crystals has additional information to add to the value of Labradorite.
In her book she states that Labradorite is very helpful in releasing unwanted energies and programs and is helpful in therapy sessions. Labradorite aligns the etheric bodies and the physical in order to access spiritual purpose. Labradorite grounds spiritual energy into the body, facilitating understanding of spiritual messages as well as bringing the unconscious mind to the surface to be seen and understood.
This stone will help you to develop trust in the universe. Labradorite will remove other people’s projections “including thought forms that have hooked into the aura” (pg. 170).
This is a stone for anyone who suffers from an over-active mind. Labradorite energizes creativity and imagination to help facilitate new ideas. Labradorite helps to balance out the mind by coupling creativity with rationality and healthy amounts of analyzation. Labradorite will help you to synthesize intuitive wisdom and intellectual thought. Labradorite will take you to the root of the issue to help solve problems once and for all. This stone will also bring up suppressed thoughts and emotions from the past.
Judy Hall goes on to mention the physical healing that Labradorite facilitates as well by stating:
“Labradorite treats disorders of the eyes and brain, relieves stress, and regulates metabolism. It treats colds, gout, and rheumatism, balances hormones and relieves menstrual tension, and lowers blood pressure. Labradorite can be used as a witness during radionic treatment, pinpointing the cause of the dis-ease.”
In another book written by Judy Hall is her Crystal Wisdom Healing Oracle deck and handbook. Within her handbook, she gives even further insight to the crystal Labradorite. Labradorite according to Judy, is considered to be in the healing category of crystals because it emanates and facilitates healing energies more than anything else.
Healing means integrating the spirit with the mind and the body to create an energetic balance. She states clearly that healing doesn’t mean to cure, but to bring well-being which is more of a state of mind than a physical condition.
“Healing crystals lift you out of the mundane world to gain a more detached perspective on everyday problems” (pg.69).
These crystals can also show you the effects the mind has on the body, and what the soul needs to thrive. Healing crystals help gently dissolve the underlying causes of the dis-ease. All physical ailments first start out as energetic imbalance. They assist you by clearing out, re-balancing, and making known the stressors that occur and accrue over lifetimes, or that are in our environment including: mental, emotional, karmic, psychological, and spiritual.
Healing crystals help us to handle change as well that is necessary in order to re-balance our energies to create harmony and health. These crystals point the way forward to help us get unstuck if we find ourselves in non-constructive patterns of thought, behavior, and relationships. Healing can occur when we open ourselves to higher levels of consciousness by becoming more present within our bodies.
Healing with Labradorite specifically according to Judy’s crystal oracle handbook is with the mind’s eye:
“Labradorite raises your consciousness to connect to mystical dimensions and the highest protective energies. It strengthens your fain in yourself and aids intuitive guidance. You are an intuitive being with the gift of foresight. Keep yourself grounded.

Another oracle deck and handbook worth mentioning is Naisha’s The Crystal Ally Cards: Evolution Edition. This book reiterates most of what has been previously stated above with additional messages from the stone Labradorite. She states:
